This smallmouth was caught by Paul Scott near Zilwaukee. The walleye fishing was slow today, but Paul caught this and a Northern Pike this morning. Very few walleye were caught there today, only 2 keepers for the 20 fisherman I saw out there. A few undersize walleye were caught too, the evening bite was much better down in Essexville, but mostly undersize fish were caught.

Name: Capt Ed
Location: Manistee, Michigan, United States

I grew up in the NY Adirondack mountains fishing, hunting, biking, skiing and playing hockey. I moved to Michigan in 1987 and found that fishing and hunting is much better here than in NY. The Great Lakes have so many species that we can fish year round. Check out all my links, Salmon fishing, Walleye, and ice fishing.
